Frequently Asked Questions

We get alot of questions about the content we create and design for your business, so we’ve brought together a few of your most frequent questions so we can speed the conversation up and deliver our products faster.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

What are your payment terms?

We require a minimum of 10% of the project’s price before we start a project and the remaining balance once the project is completed. After the project is completed as per the contract we require, you have 30 days to fulfill your payment.

We do offer flexible payment options, however content is not released until payment is made in full. For every 30 days that the final payment is late, a 5% late fee is added.

How do we pay you?

At the apropriate points in our communication, in reference to our payment contract, we’ll send you a ____. We expect payment within 10 days, during the project, or 30 days when the project is over for everything to continue to move forward.

We accept cash, card, paypal, and check.

Do you have any digital restrictions on content?

The only limitations on content we create for you are created by licenses we agree on in our intial conversation about assets. For example, the music we license withing your budget may be limited in it’s distribution across different mediums (can’t be displayed on network television but it can be distributed online).

We don’t have any digital restrictions on photography.

Do you work in-house or outsource your projects?

We always try to preform work in house but on larger projects (for example, bigger websites or large video productions) we may hire out for smaller roles from our large network of local and national freelancers.

PRODUCTION

How much does it cost to make a video?

Videos comes in all shapes and sizes. We help you create effective content within your budget. Contact us for a free custom quote and project breakdown.

How long does it take to make a video?

Videos can take anywhere from a few days for simple interviews and b-roll shoots, to a few weeks for more complex productions like television commercials. We can give you an accurate timeline based on our current workload and your project’s scope of work.

How many rounds of edits/revisions are included?

We offer a new proof at different stages: shot list/concept proof, music/assets selection, post-production round 1, and post-production round 2. For a total of 4 rounds of revisions.

What kind of gear do you use?

The gear we use depends upon the scope of the project (for example, for bigger projects we may rent kit), but for even the smallest projects we use a mix of natural and LED lighting, DSLR cameras, and micrphones.

WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

How many rounds of edits/revisions are included?

We offer three rounds of revision at each of the website’s vital stepping stones: intial assets (if we’re designing, creating or collecting any assets for you), wireframe designs, and final website (right before we take it live).

Any extra rounds incur either an extra project charge or overtime hours.

What training/support do you offer when the site is launched?

We offer two general different options of support post-creation:

We offer a monthly support option where we maintain and update the website, or we offer a two hour maintenance breakdown at the end of the project where we show how to maintain and update the website on your own.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Do you offer physical copies of your photography?

Our standard packages that we usually work off of to customize your experience don’t typically include physical copies, though we may include the option of a usb stick with your purchase or we may help you get your photos printed.

How many rounds of edits/revisions are included?

After the photos are edited, we allow a few specfic requested changes.
